Table with Pitch of threads in mm – coarse (standard) and fine thread types.

The pitch of threads table contains most known thread types in millimeters. Thread sizes M7, M14 and M25 are not so common used.
All data is for informational purposes only.
What is the thread pitch? – The distance between corresponding points on adjacent threads. Measurements are taken parallel to the thread axis.
Why do we use fine, instead of coarse thread? – There are at least two possible reasons. The first is to use the screw in regulating mechanism and providing more accurate adjustment. The second reason may be more strength needed. Every mechanical design engineer chooses the correct screw type according the designed mechanism.
By checking this page regularly, you won`t miss any additional information about thread types and different pitch sizes. At roundmech we constantly fill our engineering data with new and well-described information. We constantly gather information and try to present it to our visitors the best possible way.
